Roberta Goschke
Roberta Goschke was born in 1954 in New Castle, PA, and currently resides in Waldoboro, Maine, where she paints landscapes, still life and figure drawing. During her twenty-one Army career, she attended life drawing and art classes in the Northern Virginia and Washington DC area.
Roberta attended her first life drawing session in 1984 and became devoted to drawing and painting the figure. After completing her Army career in 1995, she continued to study at the Art League in Alexandria, VA. Adding outdoor landscape painting to her art repertoire in 1997, Roberta became a member of the Washington Society of Landscape Painters. She and her husband moved to Maine in 2000.
Roberta and Bob live in an 1850's farm house surrounded by Waldoboro's pastoral scenery. They have renovated the attached barn into a beautiful studio and small gallery for Roberta. Inspiration is never more than a few steps away; through the old church windows in the second story studio or down the lane to a favorite tree line.
