Sterling Silver ewer made by silversmith William Bateman in London, marked 1818. William Bateman was the son of Jonathan and Ann Bateman. This ewer is inscribed on the bottom (see additional photos) "To Louisa Elizabeth Lukis Born 4th June 1818. The gift of her GODFATHER, John Lukis." The piece measures 10" high by 9 1/2" from handle to spout.$SOLD
