Roberta Goschke
Roberta Goschke was born in 1954 in Newcastle, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Waldoboro, Maine, where she paints landscapes, portraits and still lifes. Goschke studied life drawing and oil painting at the Corcoran School of Art, The Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia and at George Washington University. Her works have been part of the "Figure Revealed" exhibition shown at the University of Southern Maine, Lewiston, and the Center for Contemporary Art in Rockland, Maine, and several of her pastel drawings depicting the Army's involvement in Panama are included in the collection of the U.S. Army Center for Military History in Washington, D.C. Goschke also teaches art and hosts a drawing group at her studio in Waldoboro.
